Carapacian Colors

Was thinking about carapacian color tints n skin tone ranges so I whipped up a vague idea of my thoughts...
The darkness/lightness of shell & skin varies depending on the person as well, But I couldn't figure out how to format that idea alongside this one. so. for now, color range only it is.

Made them a LITTLE freakier than I usually draw them, but whatever. (Also they've got thick camel-like eyelashes!) I think the weird factor is mostly in the eyes size + wanting to show of their teeth, but not really doing a specific expression for it like I did in the midnight crew images.

I'll probably change my carapacian designs again later bc that's just how I work, usually. Mostly in the way the plates are laid out I think. Who knows when that'll happen though.
